Project settings

Configure project profile, board columns, methodology setup, team access, and lifecycle options from the Settings view.

The Settings view (accessible from the project sidebar as Project Settings) is the configuration surface for an individual project. It is organised into several sections.

Project profile

Edit the project name and project key. The key is a short identifier used in navigation labels and work-item reference numbers (for example PROJ-42). Changing the key affects future item keys but does not rename existing items. Save with Save profile or reset your edits with Reset.

Repository sync

Link the project to one or more GitHub repositories for issue and pull-request synchronisation. After GitHub is connected from workspace Integrations, use this Project Settings section to search installed repositories, choose one from the dropdown, and click Add. Linked repositories can be removed from the same section, and sync runs across every repository linked to the project.

Board setup

Configure the workflow columns visible on the Board view: which columns are enabled, their display labels, WIP limits, and WIP policy (Advisory or Blocking). An advisory WIP limit changes the column badge colour when exceeded; a blocking WIP policy prevents cards from being moved into the column once it is at capacity. Disabling a column is rejected if work items still have that status. Save with Save board.

Methodology setup

The Methodology setup section shows the active methodology name and version, then exposes two sub-sections:

Settings — methodology-specific configuration fields. Depending on the methodology, these may be boolean toggles, numeric inputs with a suffix (for example sprint length in days), or select dropdowns. Each field has a label defined by the methodology schema.

Optional practices — a list of opt-in practices the methodology makes available. Each practice card shows its name, a short description, and badges indicating whether it comes from another methodology or is recommended. Toggle a practice on or off by clicking its card.

Changes to methodology settings and selected practices are applied together when you click Save methodology setup. Use Reset to discard unsaved changes. Only workspace owners can change methodology setup; other members can view the current configuration.

Team access

A read-only summary of the people and agents currently assigned to this project, showing each person's name, role, and allocation percentage. Click Manage project team to navigate to the Team view where you can invite people, change roles, and hire agents.

Outcome layer

Shows portfolio and outcome-layer controls for the project. If the active methodology does not enable portfolio tracking, this section displays a note indicating that portfolio controls are hidden for this methodology by default.

Lifecycle danger zone

Archive project — hides the project from active lists but keeps it recoverable from the project switcher. Enter an optional reason and click Archive project.

Delete permanently — irreversibly removes the project and its data. Type the project key in the confirmation field before clicking Delete project.
