Status that updates itself
Skopo watches the GitHub activity your team already produces and turns it into plan state. Setup takes a few minutes.
- Step 1
Connect your repositories
Sign in with GitHub, install the Skopo app and choose the repositories a project follows. Existing issues and pull requests come in as work items. Your code is never changed.
- Step 2
Keep working in GitHub
Open, merge and close issues and pull requests as usual. GitHub webhooks update the matching items in Skopo, with the pull request shown on each card.
- Step 3
Steer from Skopo
Plans, sprints, goals and release readiness update from real engineering activity, so status meetings start from facts instead of guesses.
One board for engineers, one view for everyone else
The board shows the pull request behind every card. The dashboard shows whether the sprint and the release are on track.

Your methodology runs the workspace
Pick a methodology and Skopo sets up the workflow states, rituals, work item types and metrics that go with it. Change your mind later and migrate with a preview first.

Governance without the spreadsheet
Leads get the controls they need to ship responsibly. Engineers get rules that are visible on the card, not buried in a wiki.
Goals
Tie initiatives and outcomes to the work that moves them, and see progress roll up from merged pull requests.
Policy gates
Require evidence before work moves on: passing checks, a reviewed design, a signed-off test plan. Exceptions are recorded, not hidden.
Release readiness
Each release shows scope, gates and open risks in one place. Skopo blocks a release from going out while high-impact risks stay open.
Risks, decisions, dependencies
Log them next to the work they affect. They show up on board cards, in planning and in release checks, where people actually look.
AI agents that work like teammates
Connect Claude or Codex over MCP with OAuth and they can read the board, file work items and update status, scoped to what you allow.
- Hire agents into projects. They sit on the team page next to people, take assignments and hand work off for review.
- Set budgets and approvals. Monthly spend limits, allowed tools and approval checkpoints keep agents inside the lines.
- Audit everything. Every change an agent makes is attributed and recorded.
The retry bug from yesterday's incident needs a ticket in Platform API, next sprint.

Questions teams ask first
Do my developers have to change how they work?
No. Developers keep using GitHub branches, pull requests and reviews. Skopo follows that activity and updates the board, so nobody has to drag cards to keep status accurate.
What does Skopo access in GitHub?
Repository metadata, issues and pull requests for the repositories you connect, plus your GitHub profile for sign-in. Skopo does not modify your code.
Can we switch methodology later?
Yes. A project can migrate from one methodology to another through a preview-first flow that maps existing work items and workflow states, so history is preserved.
Can we define our own methodology?
On the Business plan you can build custom methodologies with your own work item types, workflow states, rituals and policies, then review and publish versions to projects.
How do Claude and Codex connect?
Skopo runs an MCP server at skopo.dev/api/mcp. Claude and Codex sign in over OAuth, or with a personal token scoped to what they may read and write, and every change is attributed in the audit trail.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan covers up to 3 projects and 5 members with GitHub sync and MCP access. Upgrade from inside the app when you need more.
Connect a repository and see your board fill in.
Signing in with GitHub creates your workspace. It takes about two minutes.
